Our story
Founded by Dr. Surabhi Yadav, whose more than 25 years of experience in CSR and sustainability has shaped our emphasis on sound governance, field realities and demonstrable results. We work across the needs of corporates, foundations and NGOs, helping organisations build the foundations that make social investment more effective.
What the name Samvardhan means
The name “Samvardhan” (संवर्धन) means to nurture, strengthen and help grow. It reflects the role we aim to play: strengthening organisations so that their work can create more credible, inclusive and sustainable outcomes for the communities they serve.
Our vision
A development ecosystem in which corporates, foundations and NGOs are guided by strong governance, credible evidence and genuine collaboration—so that social investment contributes to lasting, measurable and inclusive change.
Our mission
To enable social impact through expert consultancy and hands-on support in CSR, sustainability, ESG, programme management and impact measurement. We help organisations design thoughtfully, implement responsibly, measure rigorously and build the capabilities needed to sustain progress.
Our approach: from compliance to measurable impact
Diagnose the organisation’s context; design policies, action plans, programme architecture and indicators; enable delivery through tools and capacity building; measure progress with appropriate methods; and report findings and recommendations to support decisions and learning.
